Simon Maxwell Ormsby Watson
LL.B., B.Ec.
Simon Maxwell Ormsby Watson studied Law at the University of Western Australia and following graduation completed a Bachelor of Economics.
In 1966 he was admitted to the Supreme Court as a Barrister and Solicitor, and went into private practice in the field of commercial law. In 1983 the Supreme Court appointed him Notary Public.
Simon specialises in Commercial Law and Commercial Structuring, which includes corporate advisory services such as prospectus', corporate takeovers, corporate amalgamations and reconstruction, corporate acquisitions and due diligence for the mining, oil and gas industries.
A well regarded member of Perth's legal community, Simon has more than 30 years experience operating both within Australia and internationally, and lends his expertise to the Foundation as a member of the Board of Directors.
