Geoff Brayshaw
AM, FCA
Geoff Brayshaw has spent some 35 years in public practice; he is a former Managing Partner of BDO Chartered Accountants, Perth and in 2002 he was National President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia.
He is highly respected within the accounting profession, with more than 30 years experience in provision of audit and assurance and corporate advisory services, including prospectus' and statutory reports, independent accountants reports and business and share valuations. Geoff retired from public practice in 2005.
Geoff is currently serving on numerous boards, including: non-executive director of Fortescue Metals Group Limited (FMG) and Poseidon Nickel Limited, Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management committees, non-executive director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Fortron Insurance Group Limited and a Board member of the Small Business Development Corporation. He is a member of the Institute of Company Directors in Australia.
Geoff has been involved in several community activities, including: Director of the WA Sports Federation and WA Baseball League. He also played an active part in the Campaign to save Old Growth Forests in Western Australia.
